I also forgot to mention the soundtrack or rather the title theme for Max Payne...I was listening to it this morning in surround sound and it was marvelous.

secret of mana on snes; the opening theme always raised my pores

and prince of persia:sands of time ( one tune in particular..'Time Only Knows' ..  oddly enough i never played the game, but a friend of mine did, and passed tha tune onto me.. real melancholy )

has anyone played SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS?

Appart from being my PERSONAL pick for best game of the year for games I have played. This game has PHENOMINAL and meserising music. a fantastic if not FLAWLESS soundtrack. The game rip soundtrack is up for dl from your usual sources i suggest you take a listen to some nice full orchestral music.
