What tactics do you use?

I have done things like load up the front of a hum vee with c4's and ram a tank with it
and have the man blow the c4's as i hit the tank

  I do that to occasionally  , if you can't drop the C4 ON the tank dropping them in its path and blowing 4 satchel near the tank is enough .   The support classes medic/engineer/support have nice weapons/ abilities , with the medic you can last alot longer  in an urban battle than a normal soldier as you can heal yourself, a squad based of medics , 1 support and  1 anti tank can take out just about anything and hold any position for an insane amount of time ,  just make sure everyone keeps under cover so very few fatal injuries that cannot be healed by the medic occur .
     Also its smart to blow up vehicles that you  find /leave in  enemy territory eg. if you and a buddy want to go rampage with a tank  a flag or two away from the 'front line' action , you don't want that tank or any vehicle you see  bieng used agains't your team , blow up everything you see ,and if you have to leave the tank behind eg. airstrike and you can't move away  , make sure it gets blowed up else the enemy has an extra tank to use again'st you .
   APC's are my favourite vehicle apart from the apache  , it can freaking SWIM ! rocket and the turret  , driving these up/down a river and blowing away enemy boats is  fun , fairly safe and hampers enemy movement , no boat is going to take out an APC anytime soon and planes/choppers can't see you well , even if they could at a good angle the APC can shoot them down !
    Also , damaging trucks  a bit then driving at full speed into an enemy vehicle is a good way to take it out when other methods are in short supply , just jump out of the car before it hits and RUN!

Simple tactics:PAY ATTENTION SOLDIER!!!

-Using Vehicles such as  tanks for cover fire is a plus.

- Avoid being stationary in enemy territory or hot zones, in or around vehicles such as the HUM V and Dune buggy cause one well place rocket or flak cannon = instant death.(As i leant on Sunday compliments DRL + Beago) and Never Stay out in the open without cover.

while moving around in or around the battlezone always stay crouched unless u need to sprint out of the sight of an enemy tank
aim for the head or as close as possible NOT to kill more quickly but it will conserve ammo
with apache's come up behind them with the rocket and shoot them this will make it harder for the pilot to notice they have been targetted
if u have a humvee make sure u run over infantry when u get the chance(this is fun lol) or get a second person with u to shoot them
apache pilots if u think u are going to die then fly straight into a nearby tank before u die in vain
same with planes!!

 kaleb you obviously haven't played BF2 much whenever your bieng targeted by a missle/ rocket in a vehicle an annoying beep plays and a red symbol pops up..  the apache just has to  set off his chaff and flares  and move up a bit and your missle will  miss..... 
  the only way to kill an aircraft easily  is to use a machine gun / flak gun ,  or heat seeking missles   , firing the missles takes a little common sense.... target the aircraft and wait for them to let go chaff/ flares  , then target the aircraft again and fire , or fire one missle early on , let it get lost to the flares and fire the other after . 
    Anti tank weapon can take down aircraft when they hover close to the ground , a good pilot will rarely do this unless he's capping the flag or dropping off men .
      Ammo isn't too much of an issue once you got a support guy/ commander with common sense to keep you supplied , use your ammo as you need to , sometimes you have to spray to supress enemy movement and keep them under cover, other time you need to spray when you encounter the enemy at close range , but its recommended no more than 3 round burst at a time at enemies fairly far off,  aiming for the head is good if your running low on ammo and the enemy is stationary , otherwise aim for the torso and fire both at the enemy and where he is going . 
   Staying stationary when your not under cover is suicide , RUN ! jump ! sprint !   Also when you hear whistling  and explosions near you , run for cover immeadiatly ! its either an air or artillery strike  ,  running out of it may lead you into an enemy trap and you may get hit while your on your way out of ground 0 , stay your ground in a building ,  or try to keep at a spot you saw just get hit,  artillery rarely hits the same spot twice .

Letting fighter jets or damaged choppers crash into enemy tanks jeeps etc. (takes real timin though if u intend to bail out like me)

Parachuting into a command point and saying hello with a combat knife to the kidneys of the unsuspecting fool standing out in the open. (sorry folks too much source in de blood )

Booby trapping enemy vehicle spawn points with C4  mines or claymores.

The rest like the truck bomb I dont have to mention since all us homicidal gamers does think alike

 i noticed one thing also ,  you can actually survive bieng run over by a tank by crawling directly between the wheels out the other side ! it will work with many other vehicles too but takes precision , and if the tank backs up or moves to the side a bit you may die .

You can also "jump" away from gettin knocked down. Works when you think it won't!

yes.. or u can ise a buggy which is really fast drive towards a tank and jump out and let the inersia take care of that. and as you said requires some skill (that shiizzzitt hard no @ss)!!!
