Video game companies producing comics

I've notice a trend in manga that some video game companies publish
their own manga comics of their upcoming game franchises and sometime
original concepts. The most prominent one of these is Square/Enix's
Gangan comics who produced the Full Metal Alchemist manga which is
starting to become very popular. I wonder if this trend will extend to
the american game companies?

mini series type comics
for star craft atleast

dont know if they would waste the ink on war crap
