I hate to be 'that guy' here but, so what? What is the likelihood that a developer is gonna throw time, money and effort into porting a UE4 based game to the WiiU when they could be working on other projects including DLC for the selfsame project in the first place? Sure it's not impossible or unthinkable but seriously?
That monster hunter boost sales is great, but not enough to warrant a second wind to me. If I remember correctly the same thing happened with the psp; a handheld almost out the door got a major bump in sales - so much so that nintendo probably pay out the nose to get the next one on 3DS (and as far as I'm concerned the game suffered for it, it probably would have been amazing on the vita)
Nintendo is starting to seem like the apple of the gaming world to me...pity that we have yet to see the core franchises being represented - and I am looking forward to see what they have set up for Zelda, Metroid and more news on the next Smash, despite the sour taste brawl left. Nintendo will continue to get my *handheld* support when more new rpgs and classic castlevanias start emerging. Till then, My DS lite will keep me happy on the subway.
I am a WiiU naysayer, but I want to see it turn around and I want to be proven wrong.
