Hi Guys
I have a client that wanted a home PC built. In getting the parts (I paid for everything so far, client has not been billed yet) one of the items I obtained was the AMD FX 8350. Was at a fairly decent price, so I said why not. Now when it came to main boards, I had very little to go on. One of the candidates was an MSI 760GM-P23. I read through the manual and it claimed that is supported the processor. However, after assembling the system, it hangs a lot after the initial installation of Windows 7 and I am forced to re-install or abandon altogether.
I have come across several forums where they claim it works and others claimed it will not work, my question to you guys, should I source a lower grade processor and sell the 8350, or is there a BIOS update that would have this processor work with this board? Now be honest! If there is genuinely no way this CPU will work, I will post it for sale here, however, if it does work, then I will continue with this set up
