Several years later, I am a strong advocate.
My DVDROM drive did not open for years on end as a result of how awesome steam's digital service was. You get top rate titles for cheap and near instantly.
No more looking around for a disc to play, to authenticate, no more patching or any of that rubbish.
99% of my games are now bought digitally and loving it.
