a year to remember indeed.

a lot of good events (fifa, street fighter, mvc, mk9, digital immersion, etc....) on the competitive side of things.

some nice social gatherings too (NAPA exhibition, Animae Caribe gala, etc..)

signs of a resurgence in GL activity.

the biggest FPS launches in history (BF3 and MW3)

and some of the best games a gamer could ever ask for being released within weeks of each other (skyrim, uncharted 3, bf3, mw3, Skyward sword, etc...)

some hot girl gamers joining GATT (dutty curlz, tamela, talesha, trinianya, trininikita, etc...)

all in all, 2011 was a damn good year

...there, fixed it for ya.

That 'other shooter' doesn't even belong in such stellar company.

Moving on...   :laughing7:

2011 was indeed great.

I will remember it as 'The Year of 2600k'.  :laughing7:

good catch with the 2600K

Though that will be in my 2012 memories (unless Santa is especially kind on the 25th)

Seriously, we saw some heavy heavy action in the 3dmark Vantage leaderboards this year. The PC made a strong showing.

This Year has been about the highs and lows.

Was robbed TWICE this year. The first time requiring me to get 18 stitches and pay 20k to fix my sister's car. The second time i lost a phone which i had just paid $500 to have fixed. Lost my glasses coming out of a maxi later this year as well. The year seemed to think i was loaded. (rage)

But moving on, God remains good to me. Finally got my PC to a place where i don't have that "what do i have to upgrade next?" feel and can do an entirely new system WHEN i want to. Graduated from UWI this year, major bonus, and i'm hoping to keep that drive to continue along the education path. Got that short vacation i wanted before i started to work, and immediately as i felt that vacation time should be up, got called for several interviews and everyone was impressed. Currently getting a decent salary for someone working less than a year and hoping for bigger and better in 2012.  :ohhoho:

Saved the best two for last; started the year with the legendary annual trip to Tobago with 11 other friends and this year was even better than the last two, that was unbelievable(Even better this January??). Finally landed that girl i've been trying not to feel like i'm missing out on early in the year too and hoping to celebrate the Christmas, New Year, Anniversary and more years to come with her. (megusta)

Farewell 2011, all in all it's been great, and i can look back and consider it not too bad. *Insert Obama "Not Bad" face here*
