Intel and Nvidia bury the hatchet

This is some EXCELLENT news. Can/will Nvidia return to the Nforce 2 glory days, this time on Intel platforms? IMO Intel is doing a largely good job in the chipset department with the couple glaring gaps being filled by their partners (addition of usb and sata3)

Competition is always good, cant wait to see where the two companies take this.

Dont hold your breath for that. Intel is still gonna have to hold it down on that front. Remember though that multi gpu users account for but a percentage of users, even in the high end enthusiast segment. Nvidia loyalists will of course be taken of but not so much for AMD.

At the very least, Nv could have some input in Intel's chipset development which is still good news for us given nv's experience.

I don't believe Nvidia is going to make Intel chipsets anymore, rather apparently Sandy Bridge has Nvidia IP inside it and in turn Nvidia will have access to use Intel IP in their products. But yuh never know, have another read:
