Honestly, I've been a big fan of RE since it's inception. Played all of them except for RE:Zero for GC. It doesn't matter to me the direction the game is taking in terms of Action/Horror. That s**t looks fantastic and I can't wait. I just love the mash up of all the characters you love all in one game.  :cowboy:

Look forward to Operation Raccoon City also...

Played one of the storylines to completion. It's like there is no Animation blending and it destroys the fun of this game.

Resident Evil has been replaced by Dead Space (we know this but its hard to accept) and the main reason is straight up controls and character functionality.

Having to wait for a person to complete a walk cycle, then wait for them to initiate a climb cycle, then stop....then go back to a walk cycle (or run) is just unforgivable.

Rarely do I rant about a game on this forum. But this is just terrible.

...which is what plagued every single RE game before RE4.
I can't believe all those games were lauded the way they were.  Atrocious controls abounded throughout.   RE4 was a triumph in redesign.

Sorry to hear this title turned out so sloppy.
The general consensus has been that the franchise is on a downward spiral in terms of quality.

This is rudimentary base level animation. My f*cking college dev team could do animation blending. This is no excuse, unforgivable and just fucking retarded.

Rarely do I rant about a game on this forum. But this is straight up lazy ass coding, and optimization on Capcom's part, and they should be ashamed.

I knew there was a reason i wasnt having fun with this game, u hit the nail on the head. Sometimes it feels like the controls are working against me rather than for me. Its a shame, i really wanted to like this game..bleh

I got it real cheap brand new and was telling myself, If it sucks i can at least make back my money but damn I get Pissed playing for more than 5 minutes at a time. I'm playing Chris storyline and the ai is retarded on both my side and the enemy and all the little things add up to frustration like the fact that you cant adjust aim and look sensitivity I would say Fail but that would mean i had hopes for the game in the first place.

RE CV for DC
RE4 for PS2
RE5, RE5 gold for PS3
and I have no intention of buying this game ever after seeing it by a padna house.
I loved RE5. I was defending it all the time but I can't defend this horse crap.

Yikes...

I too bought RE4 and 5 (Gamecube and Xbox 360 respectively), and I was actually looking forward to this one.

It seems like Capcom has finally run this one into the ground...just like Activision with their 'premier' franchise.

Sadly, we as consumers aren't giving these companies the wake-up call they so desperately need.
My views on that are well documented, so we won't go there.   This time.   :)
