Wifi is a bit shakey from my experience. Especially in Trinidad with our concrete walls.
Wire is really the preferred option and makes all the difference for HD streaming and online games where you want max bandwidth / latency.
Cat 5 cable is really cheap so you can just get a longer cable. Say a 100ft, to accommodate being able to run neatly.
Alternatively, if you want to spend a lil more and avoid the hassle of running the cable, you could use a Powerline Ethernet adapter.
It will allow you to use the internal electrical wiring in your house to act as an ethernet network.
Meaning, anywhere you have a socket on the wall, you can have a connection to the internet via the adapter.
