i have some pretty decent replays to upload...

its a 2gate/stargate push... will upload it... found it to be very very effective on smaller maps...

As promised...

this build works extremely well when they do a scan on ur base and only see 2 gateways... they get cocky and try to push it out fast... thats when the vrays show up :)

Can't wait to watch these, I suspect it's very similar to the antimage, just a little delayed due to the second gate. Tomorrow I'll take them eeen.

i think it's different to the anti-mage in the sense that the void rays are not used to harass but used with the main push...

and when making the main push the key is to try and expand quickly to.. so if u loose dat battle ur economy is still great

Watched 'em all and they are very similar to the antimage but with two key differences.

1) You choose not to harass with the void ray.
2) You hide the stargate

Note, in two of those games, you could have killed the terran at the 7 minute mark since they went heavy marauders. Nothing to stop the rays had you harassed.

In my modified antimage, I proxy the stargate to shave a few seconds off the harass and go gateway forge instead of two gates (because my unit control is lame)

Still, I like this approach, your expert handling of the sentries and attacking forces made all the difference. Very aggressive too.

And totally on point with the proxy pylon for warping in units in the field.

I'm not so confident in my choke holding with the sentry, that's why I modified my antimage with the forge. It's lame but safe.

Your unit control and sentry skills were diamond level.

boss replays.

yea after i push is when i realise i coulda kill them earlier but.. without the early observer it does be a big risk to take... notice one game the guy went marines.. they woulda eat the vrays :(...

thx @ the comps doh... i real liking sentries, i trying to master forcefields.. good forcefields could make a whole lotta difference in battles yes...

think of the vrays as your early observers. lol

If you enter and see marauders, laugh and take the points.

If you poke in and is marines galore, high tail it out of there and try and harass with your superior range. Snipe buildings, etc.... basically keep him home defending until you can expand/build an appropriate response (aka colossi)

That is the essence of the antimage and it applies here too.

+1 WarOne and the others would find this very interesting. Makes micro a bit easier.

I wonder if this applies to moving any units around via the minimap, will they keep their formation..
