Its says 'x86' though. I'm willing to hazard a guess that this wont work for Vista x64.

yeah my bad there is also an ISO you can get with both via searching by release date on the window's download section of m$ downloads

Just done installing it, under 20 mins...

Supposed to be a cumulative update, no performance improvements to speak of.

I think I'll wait for the slipstreamed version before I reload this laptop one more time before going Win7
