hey

i dunno if anyone has tried this out.

basically, its voip  over your mobile phone via data or wifi  , ( i run skype on it, over wifi.. pretty mellow)

I tried Fring on ipod touch...
Didn't like it all that much.

I prefer Nimbuzz http://www.nimbuzz.com/

But I believe its just a preference thing in terms of application presentation.
I'm sure both work the same way lol.

Yeah Fring was alright, I remember it would real eat up battery when I used it for Skype but that is expected when using intensive VOIP services with Wifi.....

I currently use ebuddy for regular msn and facebook chat over gprs...
