well for the cheapest i7 mobos, i only know of two that's available on amazon.

ONE: MSI X58 Pro - CLICK HERE

TWO: Gigabyte X58 - CLICK HERE OR CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

Decent entry level boards for the i7 platforms, not laden with features as the 300 dollar ones, but should provide enough for your everyday needs. As you can see, the MSI has 6 slots for DDR3 ram, while the Gigabyte only has four. It's up to you, personally i'd prefer the Gigabyte; hate the colour of the MSI, and haven't had much luck on msi boards wrt heat while oc'ing.

EDIT: oh these boards don't support SLI..

The MSI is the board to get. I plan on ordering one as soon as I get a buyer for my parts.

These boards work best when ALL three channels are used, hence Wa_DoDem's suggestion.

I myself am getting these babies, and next month...three MORE for 12 GB.  :happy0203:
The RAM gods have blessed us FINALLY with cheap DDR3, and I intend to take FULL advantage of it.

'Too much RAM' you say?
