Have u guys see this game yet Frontlines: Fuel of War it look really really good better than the bf2 and 2142,

 looks interesting.. can't say i'm impressed by the graphics , but if it is what it looks like : BF2 with more technology and action, it should be good.

apparantly the guys who made BF1942's desert combat mod are behind it , promises to be very interesting .

i'm completely baffled as to why there's sooo little hype surrounding this game. i honestly think this game will be THE NEXT GREAT ONLINE SHOOTER, dethroning Battlefield 2 and maybe.....dare i say it.....Call of Duty 4!?! here's a couple of gameplay trailers and decide for yourselves.

Yes I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to start a new thread and get raped by the mods. Recently installed this game and I must say I was pleasantly shocked at how much weapons/vehicles you get to command in this game.

Using the drones really changes up the gameplay from what I'm used to but the AI aren't the brightest bunch. Despite that the pc will still own you if you try to run out like rambo lol.

I just love the fact that you can have a Rocket launcher, grenade launcher, pistol, suicidal drones (land + air) to take out heavily fortified badies etc.

Has it replaced CoD4 as your multiplayer of choice? Haven't played it myself but it looked hot from the vids.

Does it live up to the hype fish?

honestly, no. COD4 is still the King of the Hill. i have both games, and Frontlines is just missing....something. maybe its the underwhelming weapon sound effects or the lack of game modes. or it could be that it just doesn't have that punch COD has.

well yea rage, i have to agree. It does feel like it's missing something.. and i believe it should have looked better. for an unreal 3 engine game it fails to impress. The explosions, weapon sounds, even when you're shooting someone, it doesn't give you the satisfaction that cod4 gave. to put it plain it needs some more BOOM!!.. but it's a decent game overall, and with all those weapons, and even though it only has one multiplayer gametype(kinda like battlefield) it will be a blast to play.

Well it's hard for anything to come around cod4 but this game although a little rough around the edges, it has some good play to it.

The graphics aren't all refined and spectacular but it is funny when you're taking cover behind a wall one second and then a rocket blows away the wall leaving you in the open lol.

It can't meet cod4 in terms of multiplayer but it's a cool game in my opinion. I like change and this gave me a different light on a FPS..
