guys i dunno if anyone can assist. basically all of a sudden i cannot connect with my friend in miami via private chat or connect in any games. before i left for vacation 2 weeks ago it was fine. now it just refuses to connect. by the way i have an open nat he has moderate which ought to connect with one another. in addition i can connect with everyone else perfectly fine

yeh a couple of people. i suspect its my router because if the modem is in the 360 directly i could connect and chat just fine. which i can't understand since the nat is open

Perhaps the wireless router you're using has the firewall enabled or some form of filtering.
