really the two cannot be compared

for 1) South Park is still on tv
2) it shows more often
3) so it will be more ppular

if you have to compare anything compare beavis and butthead to the simpsons

any one with a brain should chose south park, b & b was so dumb it defied stupidity and southpark at least addresses issues with a degree of sensiblity.
