Rock Band Drum Pedal help!!!

Hi,

New to the site, I just broke the foot pedal on my rock band drum set, apparently this is a common flaw. You can get a replacement but it takes 3-4 weeks in the US so God knows how long shipping to and from here!!!

Does anyone know if there are any mods available in Trinidad for the pedal? such as a steel foot plate or upgraded foot pedal? Or am I just going to have to order online and wait the 3 weeks?

The same thing has happened to my kck pedal, and it's still broken to this date..
There is no readily available repair option in Trinidad for the pedal that I know of.

I do know that mad catz or nyko is bringing out a replacement pedal sometime in January which has a steel plate and costs $20USD.
That's my option and yes you have to wait a while + shipping and duties etc...

The reviews for it have been good.... I have read that even re-inforced standard pedals still break. I know I mash the hell out of mine so I want something that can really take a beating and looks good too!!

Well I'll see what I doing...
It's cheaper to buy a whole new kit... Just that makes me edge my teeth at the pedal price..
Will wait for the cheaper nyko LOL...
