Ive been thinking about modyfiying my wii. I wanted to know-
Where can i get this done
How is it done
How long will it take
How much will it cost
Does it cause any problems eg not being able to do wii updates
How do you play games after? do you just buy cheeper copies of games from the store or can you burn games from of the internet??

a friend of mine just told me it could be softmodded yesterday. Once you have Legend of Zelda (and everyone with a wii should have legend of zelda!)

Apparently it's no big deal. Haven't done it myself though, just word of mouth so your mileage may vary. Google maybe of more assistance.

zero media does it for 800 tt 10 free games of choice with it...

right in st augustine campus house...

and it still allows for updates...

there are some wii's with a particular sn that cant modify but u will have to ask em to verify...

id higher recommend jk, but zero media seems to have a good name as well give em a holler or check em to verify,

ive dealt with both places and i aint got any issues thus far...

hardware mod is better if you going online imo.

software mod disappears if you update the system.

ok. I see they sell different chips online to mod the wii. shoud i buy my own ant then take it to jx/ zero media to get it modded? If so what is the best one to get?

a friend told me bought super punch out, updated his wii and the soft mod still worked.

again, quick disclaimer as this is all second hand info as I haven't modded mine nor do I plan too.
