Chrono Cross 2?

Hey everyone, just wanted some general feedback on what you guys think about this idea, i mean Chrono Cross deserves a part 2 to it jed, i am so pissed that after so long no word have even been rumored about a part 2..., so now lets hear what you guys have to say about it?

Chrono Break was rumoured to be happening a few years ago. But nothing came of that.
I'm not sure whether I'd support them in making a new Chrono title, the old team and it's key members are long gone and we saw how crappy it was when they handed Final Fantasy to another team (FFXII).

Chrono Trigger is more deserving of a sequel.Chrono Cross was more a remake of Radical Dreamers. Either way, I'd like it done if only for some new music. Both soundtracks were reeeeal good.

I'm all for a chrono trigger "remake". The story was well enough told the first time around. Throw on a coat of new paint and I'd readily give it a spin again (as would the legion of fans)

Not that the SNES was a bad platform but one could only imagine the beauty of a game Chrono Trigger could be given the power of today's system.

I would love to see this game coming back under a newer representation...

However, it's just one of those titles, that I honestly won't want to see it redone, it's precious in my memories, and sometimes you just get the feeling that in trying to redo it, it won't be the same.

Chrono Trigger> Chrono Cross imo , chrono cross's story wasn't half as palatable as CT. I gave up on trying to play Cross after like 4 hours of gameplay , at that point CT revealed some semblance of a plot and characterization, CC just had me running in circles confused.

CT is regarded by many as one of the best games of all time .

 CT would make a bess nintendo DS port , I'm annoyed at nintendo for having its treasure trove of SNES RPGs lie wasting away like they do.

Sieken Densetsu 3 (never released in USA) , Final Fantasy 6 , Chrono Trigger and dozens of other snes games would make far better DS ports than the crap they like to dig up , yet they are ignored or sidelined (FF6 for GBA with low rez graphics) .

Though the 'cease and desist' order from squaresoft gives us some hope , when Microsoft gave a similar order to a group making a HALO RTS  , it was because of Halo Wars..
