It was "good". It remained true to all the other indiana jones style movies, but the action felt anticlimactic.

With the movement from Indiana Jones to The Mummy films (which is obviously in the wake of Indiana Jones) you should realize the movies need to step up a notch.

The action scenes were nice but you are waiting for more and then it just......ends :P

Then.....one......REAL wierd ending......that......i dunno what to say bout that.

Great acting though. Shia is the bomb and i love Cate....and i mean.......Harrison Ford is MC Indiana Jones....but storywise, it was pretty predictable.

It was entertaining. My aunt and uncle were with me and they enjoyed it thoroughly. I guess its a matter of what you were expecting.

I enjoyed it a lot but i guess it was more for Indiana Jones die hards than anything else i guess.

Possibly. I have all the previous movies and watch em all the time...I dont know how die hard i am but have been watching them since I was about 5 years old.
Still didnt help with my opinion despite friends saying it was "okay" i thought that maybee they were just over analyzing the movie and not just enjoying it for what it is. But i think they were correct inmost aspects.

With the movement from Indiana Jones to The Mummy films ...

I think that this is one of the major reasons that many people were disappointed in the movie. Since the last Indy film, we have seen a vast increase in special effects and CGI in most blockbuster movies. Knowing the pedigree of both Spielberg and Lucas, it stands to reason that if they wanted to go all out with effects, they very well could have.

As for story, it is important to keep in mind that this is not Indy in his prime any more. He is (getting) old and this movie was a passing of the torch to Shia. It seemed that the creators wanted to keep to the style of the previous films and I think they accomplished that. I expected a bit more humor (with Shia) but maybe that will come in the future. Also, there just isn't anything quite like a good fight against the Nazis. Communist Russia didn't seem like a good enough opponent for Indy.

Finally, since the last Indy, there have been quite a few movies in this vein that took over (so to speak) from the series. We have had The Mummy, Tomb Raider, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean and others. Indy was an original and different movie experience before. Now, he just has a lot more competition.

I think the movie stands as a good addition to the series and is on par with Temple of Doom but behind Last Crusade and Raiders. I look forward to the inevitable sequel with Shia as the next Dr. Jones and hope he can reclaim the classic Adventure crown.

everyone at my office says this was rubbish, lol

Not giving me much confidence to go movietowne and spend the big bucks. Will wait for it on dvd.

As for a movie worth the big screen on the horizon, I'll put my bet on Hancock. That trailer pwned. Will Smith looks to be doing it again.

ahhh you only like will smith coz u look like him jajajajajaja

Noob looking like will smith.....ummmm idoh think soo, actually i think i look closer to him than Noob does, he looks more like.........Chris Brown LOL
