Well folks, its that time of year when I upgrade and sell my not-so-old shiznit.

Up for sale this time is my Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU, and Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard.
Both items were purchased in March (2007) and are still in great condition.

and yes, that IS a remote you can use to turn the PC on and off, as well as launch/play media.

CPU was OC'ed for benchmarking only, but run at stock speed (2.4 GHz) throughout.
You can read some reviews of the motherboard here. The amount of extra accessories
that come with this board is astounding. There is even a wireless antenna for the on-board wireless module.

Asking price: CPU = $1300 (negotiable)
motherboard = $1100 (negotiable)

or you can have both items for $2000 (firm)

You know the drill...

EDIT: ~~The CPU comes with the original Intel HSF.~~
I also have 2 GB of DDR2-667 RAM to go with this mobo as well. (Tested both together. Works great.)

this board will work with the allendale chips as well right?

Yes, this board supports all current Intel CPUs. Allendale (E4000 series) included.
You can have the RAM for $700 if you really want it, Crixx.

OK, Crixx has decided to pass on this, so SPK, the ball is now in your court.

One minor problem though, the stock Intel HSF is not working properly (faulty fan),
so you'll have to find a proper one to use.

Nope, because I never used it till now to make sure everything was OK before I sold it.

As a point of note, Intel CPUs (at least the Core 2 Duo) don't become 'damaged' because of a failed fan eh,
they just run verrrrry slow. Current mobos have thermal protection circuits that won't allow an overheating
CPU to cross its design threshold temp anyway.

He must be mistaking the CPU for an AMD Arc, lol

Hmm.....I think i will need to do some fundraising soon to get more components for this upcoming PC....*sighs at some of UWI travelling money will have to go for this...*

Well who knows, once I get some more components, I may just be selling off some of my crappy system components to help make up for it.
