D Gray Man

Anybody here ever tried this anime? This is currently the most entertaining ongoing anime IMO. (well next to one piece)

Pretty much blowing BOTH naruto and bleach far far away in terms of story, animation and just utter baddness.

Its ongoing and the anime has reached episode 70, (while the manga is on 147)

All in all great animation, great characters, awesometastic fighting scenes,the fillers rock, and people die....a lot. (and they don't come back )

Here is a summary of the story from one manga...


Akuma, monsters born from dead souls mistakenly recalled by their loved ones to the living world, are the weapons of the Millenium Earl, who is intent on the destruction of the world. Allen Walker has been cursed with an anti-Akuma weapon as his left arm and an eye that sees the former soul of the Akuma since his youth. He is also one of the few who contain "Innocence", a substance that allows him to kill Akuma and fight the Earl. With these powers, he joins the Black Priest Organization as an Exorcist and sets out with other Exorcists to stop the Earl's attempts to annihilate the human race

Is this a repost? I am sure i've read about DGrayman here already... well even so, this is an EXCELLENT anime/manga. I am COMPLETELY up to date in terms of both manga and anime. Waiting on the latest manga RAW as we speak actually. This Storyline gets my 10 stars of approval or 4 thumbs up! the FILLER material in the ANIME is also FAR BETTER than Bleach or GOD FORBID... Naruto. If you are an anime fan and you don't ALREADY follow this series, you're NOT a TRUE anime/manga fan!

yu know, back in my taku days i helped sensei convert and upload and i wasnt too thrilled with it.. it was ok at that point, the earl pissed me off, far to comical
but his family is pretty mean, the skinny girl and the big angry guy lol, who likes boiled eggs hes funny

maybe its better now but back then it was like... oh his arm... hmm wait.. havent i seen something like this before???.. *sneezessneeezeefmasneezecough*
