Well, I'm not the least bit surprised. If the whole Akon incident had everybody up in arms about what to do, the incident with a band attacking patrons was probably the final nail in the coffin.

....now, who wants to play a rousing game of checkers for the weekend? I call red! :awesome:

I also give it a week. You have ANY idea how many important ppl children go Zen cause they consider it one of the safer places to go? bleh as Nicki and Paul rightfully said this morning, all this ruckus about akon and a 14 year old, but what about the 2 teenagers that died in barataria the other day... shot dead and NOONE making such a ruckus? what about the children being abused, what about the mother who got off on charges of murder of HER OWN CHILD because the POLICE OFFICER DIDN'T SHOW UP SEVERAL TIMES. Jef Patrick is a total MC to be focusing so much on a damn night club when we spent over 10mil 'improving' the police services and its still FCUKING PANTS... I best stop I PISSED TO FCUK NOW...

Reports say is because they couldn't produce a health certificate when they went to court renew their license.
Looks like sheer coincidence to me. Real bad timing.

Right after Akon/Danah and the skull cracking fight

They should re-open soon enough.

If anything, they'll GAIN money. All the recent bacchanal that take place there would very well serve as good publicity (is there really such a thing as bad publicity in this case?) not to mention a $h1tload of free advertisement. More money for Soong.

Man. That's probably the shortest time a company's been closed down I've heard of.

Personally, if anything, Zen probably gained some serious publicity for those two incidents.
They don't call 'em publicity stunts for nothing!
...even if they technically weren't.
