Just finished watching Microsoft's live E3 press conference, (on G4) and WOW......
Their stable of upcoming games for the rest of 2007 is WICKED!!!!
Of course there was the gratuitous Halo 3 announcements (like the GREEN Halo 3, 'special edition' Xbox 360).
My jaw REALLY hit the floor during the OFFICIAL announcement of Gears Of War for Vista AND XP, and a live demo
(by none other than Cliffy B himself) of an intense boss battle with the 'Brumak', which was left out of the 360 version.
Yep, NEW content for the PC version, and MY OH MY, did it look good!!!
Another stunner was Call Of Duty 4, which looked ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. This was another live demo, not a
cutscene. I cannot put into words how GOOD that game looked. WOW (again)
Assassin's Creed was another jaw dropper. OMFG at the gameplay and graphics of this one. WHEW!!!
When you think you've seen everything, Ubisoft surprises yet again. This game is a must-have.
To top it all off, there was a simply GORGEOUS trailer of Halo 3, which featured gameplay footage.
TRUST ME when I say that the multiplayer beta looks NOWHERE CLOSE to what I saw. The graphics for
Halo 3 need to be seen to be believed.
All in all, a GREAT press conference, and a really strong showing from Microsoft.
