Hello all.....can somebody give ah brother some info !!.....
I've been trying to source the residential rates between TSTT DSL.....Greendot.....and flow.
this is what i came up with so far...
June 7th 2007
TSTT smartchoice (gold):- 437 1 year, 272 3years.....thats all i know (if those prices even current).
i can't seem to get a clear price for flow or greendot from their websites
Also EV-DO pricing is a mystery to me.....
The moral of this story is ah fed up dialup man need some high speed...

nice sig statement btw
Ok so all together FORGET greendot.......forget they even exist. To pricy because of their installation fees and all that.
TSTT is 340 I believe, a year with the smart choice bronze plan. This is 256K down.....so it's an option if you don't have flow by you for now. If you decide on tstt take only a one year contract. And also don't let them come and set it up so you won't have to pay the installation fee which is rather high. Just pay for the rental and connection fee and get the modem from them and go home and call the customer service and set it up yourself. You may have to call them inorder to get them 2 activate it. Just be patient cuz you know is TSTT. If you are calling the dsl customer service ask for Dara. She normally works morning shifts and is excellent in assisting you.
Aside from all that go with FLOW lol if it is in your area. How fully they don't give you it SLOW (stale joke) anyways yea they have 512K down for like a hundred $ less that TSTT 256K cost. I have heard on this forum self of issues with FLOW but hopefully you won't be that bad lucky. Once you have cable the connection fee and modem I believe is all you will be paying and then the monthly rental. I'm not exactly sure on the pricing and all that but check around this forum and you'll find it.
If I'm wrong on anything here plz feel free to correct me ppl. THX
I hope that was of some help Forscythe

Actually, with a gold smart choice package and 1yr contract with TSTT for aDSL your fee per month works out to about 360. Flow and the rest I don't know bout...

w1n right is bout 359.sum sum so 360.
go wid tstt for the while yes, i know men gettin real horras with flow for gaming and thing, it might work bess don't get me wrong, but it is to much gamble. (my cuz say they tell im FU when he mention torrents)
TSTT is a bit more $ but at least you know once that firewall down you can do as you please.
GreenDot is B@11Z. EVDO, well if you need mobility go with it, it is faster, however speeds throttle alot so you might never get the full bandwidth, notice i said
might
, for all i know you could be one of the lucky ones and get it full, ah paddna ah mine like them wireless thing too bad, sux for gaming though.
as bad as it is to say, imo, TSTT is the best right now for HSI, not the fastest but the best when it comes to easy install and small running errors. (you might need to reboot the modem ah few times when current go)
this is from what i have heard and seen personally from people who i know, and so far, unfortunately TSTT seems the most stable choice. again the most
stable
choice
feel free to experiment

Just for everyone's info.
EV-DO is not yet available to the general public. Only to companies' IT/Networking departments.
I did ask our TSTT corporate customer service rep when/if it would be available to the public,
but he could not say when. Right now they're having issues with the network itself, and they're not
even handing out any new devices (USB, PCMCIA) until everything is fixed.
So EV-DO as a viable option is out. For now at least.
