For the 5 people that know what EVO is, and for the 2 who actually care...they recently announced the games that will be part of the EVO Series this year.
EVO this year consists of 4 qualifying events, where the winners will recieve byes into the EVO World Finals in Las Vegas.
EVO South - March 10-11 2007
EVO North - June 22-24 2007
EVO East - May 25-27th 2007
EVO West - July 27-29 2007
EVO World - August 24-26 2007

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (PS2)
Capcom vs SNK 2 (PS2)
Guilty Gear XX Slash (PS2)

Super Smash Bros Melee (NGC)
Virtua Fighter 5 (PS3)
Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection (PS3)
The tournament is open entry which means any mc can enter. Hopefully at some point some trini mcs will make it up there.
I was considering going EVO East this year but it's way too early on for me, I think I'll head to canada for T8 instead.
