well didnt get chance to read all the post but to sum it all up, i own the 2 consoles right now, well 3 actually (2 ps3's- 1 had a disc loading problem and the xbox 360 prem) the ps3 doesnt have any good game going for it so far except for Resistance:Fall of man which i must say is simply amazing, if you ever get a chance to play it ,screw killing the aliens, go shoot the glass on the buildings, pretty sweet, lol, but right now the xbox 360 is ontop IMO because of the amount of games available and as shivadee said, xbox live! Just give the ps3 a good couple more months to settle in and i'll bet it will reign supreme soon enough

Sony makes PS3 targetsOne million floggedBy Nick Farrell: Monday 08 January 2007, 07:06Click hereSONY SAID it managed to make its sales targets for the PS3 in North America over the Christmas sales period. The console maker had set itself the dizzying target of one million consoles to be sold during the busiest shopping period.According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Sony felt that it should pat itself on the back by announcing that it had managed to achieve this. To be fair to Sony, it had a few problems getting the much delayed PS3 into the shops on time.Initial attempts meant that there were too few machines for the punters to queue up for. To make its American targets, Sony decided that Europeans could not get their grubby little paws on them until the middle of 2007.The net result is that while the figures look good for North America, Sony has only managed to sell half of the number of consoles that it wanted worldwide.Over at the Volehill, Microsoft said that it sold 10.4 million Xbox 360s during the same period.
