The best board for core is the asus p5wdg2ws PRO  or the ( soon ) p5w64ws PRO.

As for a case get the thermaltake Armour or coolermaster stacker.

I already have the case, psu

on order is 1900gt ( going to crossfire ) ocz 444-15 ddr2800, 320 gig drive

 a P5W-DH or a P5b will do fine otherwise , P5b non deluxe for a budget , 150 usd

I dont think it is wise to trust the intel chipset with SLI, far less quad SLI. As crix said, i think its best to wait for the 590 (which is already done BTW, nvidia is just working on the BIOS now)

 if you have to build a whole new machine : GO CONROE... if you have a 939 already, just pop in a 3800x2

NF590s are seeping out now, so far it's over hyped but if your bent after sli it's the way to go. IF sli becomes platform independant ( hacked drivers work atm ) it won't matter. Trini you need a slap in the head! quad sli on the p5w64! well yeah they did get it to work with 2x7950's in sli but the middle x16 slot is stuck at 4x so it's 16x, 8x,4x,8x ( going right to left ) so no quad sli with 4 7600gt's.
