Uh... I doh work in no travel agency. I only came back from Venezuela this month AFTER the "terror attack" and the new regulations. I asked repeatedly if the restrictions applied, and the man at the airline's counter all but laughed at me.
He basically tell me not to worry myself about what them crazy Americans have to say and the only restriction I had to worry about with my carry on is "one piece maximum of 5 kilos, so and so shape".
For the 15 year old, individuals can bring in 1.5 L of alcohol (das like 2 bottles of scotch) when you coming through without declaring it. Anything more and some customs man is going to smile and pull out a calculator and say "yuh bring back some Trini cash to pay the cashier or yuh prefer paying her in US?" But then 15 year olds are not expected to know such things because 15 year olds are not supposed to be bringing alcohol into the country anyway.
Again if yuh pops not in Margarita or some duty free port, I doh think yuh going to find any really great tech deals. All that stuff imported so prices pretty high. Like I say it have some digital cameras catch my eye, but I wasnt buying a camera so....
