Hoss, have some faith.

Look at the Nintendo DS. That is some serious innovation there. Now look at the sales figures. It is doing DAMN well.

Same when the GameBoy came out.

In any event, Nintendo was always strong with their own titles. A powerful brand.

3rd party support not withstanding.

Even if every third party developer were to pull the plug on development, they'd still have a console product and enough quality titles to carry it.

They would totally lose the "console war" on the world scale but they won't be out of business, especially in Japan.

Too complicated for the casual gamer???

I'll say that this is MADE for the casual/occasional gamer, seasoned gamers may have a harder time getting used to this than ppl who casually game!!!

A lot of us here may still think it'll feel funny in our hands, but to most ppl who game occasionally, they all accostomed to handling remotes in this form factor, so what u think they'd gravitate towards?

Also, not much really complicated about this IMO...who here hasn't seen while playing Mario (the old ones for the NES/SNES) at least, that for when ppl want Mario jump, they moving the controller upwards same speed??? I have seen quite a few, and in the days of my roots in Super Mario Bros, I did the same, and this would have played perfectly towards it...

I think that it can be brilliant, but only as brilliant as the software that comes out to use this device's features to the fullest...
Nagamete iru dake ja, itsumademo te ni dekinai...nagamete iru dake ja, kimi no mono ni wa naranai...

ssssssSSSSSSS...That's a nice everything you got there....SSSSSSS.

And that was EXACTLY what nintendo was thinking when they made this controler!

sure when i get mine i'll tell everyone how fine it works. I remember this same thing happening with the DS, but it came out fine around all the doubt.

Perhaps they'll feature a 'profiles' option so that different users can have different settings on sensitivity so that casual gamers can have a less sensitive controller.

brilliant idea!

I hope they do.

Or wouldn't it be great if the controller would keep the setting as well. So that you could go to a friends house and bring up your profile with your controller.

No more "setting buttons" before a game or between games as players switch in and out.

lol, I could see ppl walking arround with their own rev controler intheir back pocket, and when they reach by their friend the pull it out and play! LOL!

But the guy said that there would be many attachments for the Rev controler (for the record, the controler is the remote it self, the joystick was an add on, its the "nun-chuck(sp?)" add on)
