Green dot service

 first get one thing straight , the pings are HORRIBLE , its IMPOSSIBLE to play any FPS games online , alot of the ports are locked and need to be opened  , but the bandwidth is sweet !   Once the gaming WAN is up , and maybe in a year or two  they will get an optic fibre instead of satellite back bone , and we will be able to play games !
    Let fellow gatters with green organise  to see if we can play games , maybe through direct I.P.   , the pings should be good .

I cant get greendot where I living, too much tall buildings and big statlite dishes. And it doesnt help that I have a pretty low house, one of the set backs of Greendot. Its ironic espically as I was the one to introduce green dot to gatt.

I find it lame that the service is so limited by line of sight issues.

Really, I mean come on, we have so much technology availabe to us. Why can't it be beamed to some point nearby and run the rest of the way via cable or Pre-N wireless signal?

i haven't seen any new posts about greendot recently...
could anyone currently using the service comment about how it is running now?
what kind of speeds are you getting? good uptime? access to use p2p easily.. etc.
