Well, truth be told, we've been pretty lucky (so far) when it comes to tropical storms and hurricanes, but, you know....that's still no reason not to throw caution to the wind.
I find this somewhat odd, seeing as how the weather was pretty mild as of late, but far be it from me to argue with surveillance photos.

Well, best thing we could do is to ride it out and hope for the best.
Good thing the family stocked up yesterday, so we're pretty good, I must say.

Of course the weather would be mild (as how these systems work, they pull in surrounding moisture from around itself, leading for fairer weather in that general region....Emily combined with Dennis ensured this for the most recent while.

Never hear the expression "calm before the storm" ? there is some merit behind that sentiment you know. Rem that storms are generally Low pressure systems, from physics if u rem, euilibrium and all air will move from a region of higher pressure to one of lower pressure. Thus storm systems basically are like giant vacuums that pull in the surrounding air. Thus we get fair skies and calm seas. At least until it reaches....

come on trinidad does overeact for everything, yuh know we go get real rain a lil flooding , but we go be ok. no one could acurately predict nature, so all we have to do is be prepared and not panic.
