To Mod or not to Mod

TO mad or not is really more one of ethics but hey sony is a big company so if you mod it thats your choice. As for the rumours that it decreases i had my original PS1 modded so long ago that I cant even remember when I had it done and it still works like new. So please enlighten that person so he stops making a fool of himself.

I modded my PS2 this week by Nanan's....no complaints

When i called JK the guy couldn't tell me what chip they used, or how long it takes....he was like "uhhhh i not sure"...bad business...i will go somewhere else.

well right now i live in da states, but i'm coming down to trinidad the second week of august, i'm bringing down a ps2 with 20 games for my cousins. seeing that these games are expensive as hell down there, how much does it cost to mod it, and where to go to do it b4 i give em the system

You could go by Nanan's it will cost $1000 with 4 DVD games, Infinity Matrix chip. Depending on their workload you get it back in 2-3 hours after you drop it off.

I think JK doing theirs for $800, not sure what chip they use, not sure how long it takes.

as for Jk u couldve spoke to marlon < he is the dvd guy>  junior is the mod pro at Jk  they use the matrix infinty chip as well.
like i said JK is boss @ ps2 repairs personal experience i carried 3 ps2s by nanans they tried to repair em couldnt they told me if i mod it it will be repaired that way
carried it by jk said nothing about modding and repaired work perfect
+theres the myth of nanans taking old parts and swapping in ur ps2 i just dont thrust em

I witnessed that sh!t first hand at Nanans boy Kaizen.

Man walk into JK with a broken PS2. Said he carry it by Nanans to mod, it mod work good for a month.....gorn tru. carry it back to them, under waranty, lens burnout. They replace it.....gorn tru in about 3 months


Man gorn by JK and i was there when JK check the serial for the lens. Damn lens from a V2 oe 3 PS2 and this man have a V9 PS2. Yuh dun know. The first old broken lens the man had as well on him, that was a V2 as well.

Never had a problem with J. You call JK ask to talk to someone who knows the modding. Pops does just do the cashing. Marlon is the DVD man, J is the modder, Prince is the PC man to check and Sarah is the cell phone girl....does sell phones at a pretty good price too.

JK also offer gamecube mods   for u nintendo fans out there..

as for the games that missing stuff its most likely ps2cd rips or dvd9 games that are ripped to fit on dvd5.. we

usually have both versions if there available.
