« on: February 15, 2005, 01:22:30 AM »
This is the forum for the posting of Local and Foreign Gaming Videos, these videos can include but are not limited to Game Trailers, Teasers, Combo Videos, Match Videos, Glitch Videos, Game Parodies etc.

There are however some rules

**********

**********

Direct video links from OTHER websites cannot be directly posted. If you want to post a video, please use the code function to do so.
EG

   [--- This is not allowed

Code: [Select]
http://www.****.com/123.avi
This is allowed
To do this type(without the quotation marks ofcourse):  ["code"]place_your_link_here[/"code"]

Contributing Videos
*********************

Videos can be contributed in a couple of ways

If you have your video(s) in a digital video format you can simply upload using the guidelines given by Rampage.

If you have your recorded footage on a VHS but have no hardware to convert to digital media then please let us know. A thread will be created for this.

***************
Other Stuff
***************

You can request links to videos.

ABSOLUTELY NO PORNOGRAPHY.

I have a good feeling that I'm forgetting some stuff.
If I do need to add anything this thread will be updated.

Any questions you have may be asked here.

I don't understand how the code works different from the http link?

please explain.

Also, we have the software and computers to handle various formats (camcorder/vhs/brain cells) down at my office on maraval road.

Anyone with footage in need of conversion are welcome to use those resources.

I might need to take you up on that.  I got the prez matches plus some other stuff I'd like to have capped.

if someone puts a direct http link in here, it will show up as a referer on their site. in other words they can check their logs an thing and see that the link to it came from another site. but by using the code thing, people have to actually copy and paste the link into their address bar. by them doing that it doesnt show up as a referer to gatt from their side. many sites dont like other sites directly leeching their crap
