Holy crap, fanboys!

Not only did the news break today that the Walt Disney Company has acquired Lucasfilm Ltd. for $4.05 billion, but the studio press release also announces that a Star Wars: Episode VII feature film is targeted for a 2015 release! Yes, 2015 will give us The Avengers 2, Justice League of America and now a new Star Wars movie!

Personally Im stoked. Continuing after episode VII and beyond? Epic!.

 The rich and expansive universe of Star Wars might finally get the proper opportunity to shine.

There is huge starwars exhibits at Disney World already. Complete with storm troopers and Darth Vader walking around.

I thought it a little out of place at the time but now it fits right in after this purchase.

Also, Disney did fine with the Pirates of the Caribbean. It may have all started with a mouse but they have proven themselves outside of the Mickey over the years.

Like zerk, consider me stoked.

Disney has the resources to do this right. Not to mention the passion.
