Give reasons. Lets see who out there really know the difference between custom high end and 'manufactured' high end

Off that bat... i will NEVER by a Dell. That is all...

I can't find the specs for this rig at all but since it was announced today, will have to wait. Found the older model to it i think here. So in order to justify that price, i'd have to see the full specs before anything can be said really. Judging by the previous model though, which was priced at about $1400 USD, was still overpriced for what you were getting.

I'll give them that, their warranties are "better" than most, but u pay out the a$$ for them =/

Almost every laptop/desktop i've been asked to look at within the last 2 years have all be Dell, Toshiba and HP. Too many people i know have issues with them. Their laptops are overpriced as well imo.

But yes, alienware is the "best" alternative for people who (have the money...) don't want the run around and do it yourself approach.

a man comment and say he could build a rig for US$300 and run circles around it yes, lol

I'd buy it, if I won lotto.

Not a moment before.

Would love love to buy an alienware case though. They have some sexy mid towers

I think 'fail' has a new meaning.

And that meaning is now "Dell"

Seriously? Not even a GTX 570 or an HD 6950... A HD 6870? No SSD... 8GB ram.... No monitor... No keyboard/mouse.. Not even a blu-ray reader? That system is a whole $1000 US overpriced... things that make you go wdmc.... steupsssss...

My point goes there again.. Paying for brand name. Same thing with anything we buy these days.. Clothes, shoes, you name it. You pay a couple hundred $ more for 3 stripes or tick mark on the side of ur shoe or on t-shirt while they pay some poor east asian kid 10c for every other one he makes... Damn you metropolitan money hungry cooperation, damn you...

The price is actually not bad compared to some of the other overpriced gaming PCs on the market....
But i will never buy a "manufactured" desktop... that is all
