never played it online

but on LAN it is about the same as Q3.

They didn't touch the multiplayer format much.

very similar experience, especially in the maps that are reworked from Q3.

Jump/bounce physics and all.

The only downside is that you'd need a considerably faster machine to get smooth performance in Q4 than you would for Quake 3.

The eye candy is worth it.

well since it is wcg recognized ive been playing it online for a week now we got into some heavy q4 gamin :o
