hi techies my yahoo account was stolen by my ex. is there any way to shut it down. i tried every thing possible. yahoo is not responding to my mails any help or advice

That is very unfortunate sir. The only option i'm aware of is to have a password rest verification code sent to an alternative email address ie a hotmail or gmail. Or possibly answer the Secret Question for the password reset. I don't know what other fail safes Yahoo have in place since i don't use it.

Other than that, buy her flowers and ask nicely? Why someone would steal an email address, i'm baffled at right now.

We going through a divorce and child custody so she trying to gain intel. I gave her my user name and password a long time ago, but i changed it, so she must have guessed it. yea i tried all of the above. but yahoo sticking they said 1 week someone would contact u an it's like 2 months now

Or you can go the legal route and have your lawyer send her a letter requesting she return access of the account to you.

I know the legal system in Trinidad is less than always viable, but I think wyatt has a point
