Them car kits is too much hassle.

I have my headset on all day, every day.  No need for extra fiddling.

Less distraction while driving too.

The other problem with those FM transmitters is that the sound quality is usually piss poor - it transmitting the audio over FM radio, after all - YMMV.

yea the fm transmitters wasn't feasbile to me... plus if they wanted to, man driving next to you could simply tune into your frequency and macco lol

but my deck doesnt do that crap... it's literally bluetooth integrated into the car.

you answering/making calls etc with the remote etc... so if you don't walk around with a headset, and you wanna upgrade your deck neways... i would recommend getting one that natively supports bluetooth.

Ended up settling on this, will be used strictly for answering calls. Sure it looks flimsy but if I get a year or two out of it I'd be happy :p

EDIT:

My bad linky here :p

Doh laugh at me, this will be my "integrated" solution hehe

Woody, what the hell is that supposed to be?

I thought this was a thread about bluetooth hands free solutions? lol

I've missed this party completely. Tried the headset thing for a brief day like four years ago and never again since then.

With all this fuss, might have to give it another go.

Still have my PS3 Bluetooth headset like woody (in plastic wrap).

Will break it out and join the fun.

If it doesn't cut the mustard....next stop will be something like the parrot.

Where is you guys imagination.

That contraption there woody have plugs into your cig lighter which serves 2 purposes. 1 to provide power to the power cord and 2 serve as support to hold up the entire contraption.

Simple, not hat elegant but I guess it will work.

Yeah so no battery draining bluetooth for me :p But yeah hopefully it won't break in half after a few potholes, no worries though got lots of masking tape. Like you said it aint elegant hehe.

steups

I already have a travel charger in the car. If that is the "low tech" route we taking, some double sided mounting tape will do, lol
