Arc, that 23" LCD looking perfect.

Can you verify if it has no ghosting / lag issues once bought?

I'd be interested in one in the not too distant future.

Sadly, it seems that CZ keeps poor inventory, or too little stock,
so I couldn't get that 23-inch Samsung again.  I was told that all sellout,
even though its on all their current ads eh.  :(

Had to end up ordering this 27-inch Samsung P2770HD.

Should have it by Wednesday latest.

...and soon yuh boy should be looking good with Barts x 2:happy0203:

...and with that, my Christmas fix.

Hmm, 1ms, that sounding damn good.

I must admit, that is the best and most well positioned product page / advertisement on Amazon that I've seen to day. Just reading the details for that viewsonic monitor makes me want to whip out the VTM and buy, regardless of need. DO WANT!

Hats off to the marketing team.

Arc, cross fingers that they don't class that monitor as a TV and hit yuh some wicked Vat & Duty charges for the Christmas. lol

That 6870 price looking tempting. Steups. Where Santa Claus when you need him.

Not sure why ppl forgetting that there is such a thing as an HDMI switch. Instantly solves the problem of lack of ports and on the cheap too.

Looked at that Viewsonic as well, but it didn't have a TV tuner, no component input
(which I need for my Xbox 360), and no composite input.  Deal breakers.
I'm getting rid of the other 27-inch HDTV that I have, so this monitor literally needs
to be a jack-of-all-trades.

...and I really hope Customs don't realize it could 'do TV' and class it as such.  *fingers crossed*

But yeah, that Viewsonic has a pretty wicked spec sheet.

Flow has a cable box that does HDMI output and HD but the cost of that might cancel the savings on going with a monitor without a TV Tuner built in.

My wishlist:

Seagate Momentus XT 500GB -  This will replace the hard drive on my "one month old replacement laptop for stolen laptop" which has already failed diagnostic.. it like a ticking time bomb now

Shuttle SH55J2 small form factor barebones PC - is more a 2011 wishlist, but I will get back in the small pc fray next year. I done acquired the 8GB RAM for it...
God is dead.

Arc, cross fingers that they don't class that monitor as a TV and hit yuh some wicked Vat & Duty charges for the Christmas. lol

Thankfully, it was classed as a 'LCD Monitor', so all I had to pay was $518.00 TT in freight.
So I paid about $2662 TT in all.  A whopping $1000 less than what I would have paid for it from
Circuit Zone.  Now I'm kinda glad they didn't have any more. :)

Getting that shiznit, along with my 6870s tomorrow.

Christmas is shaping up quite nicely so far.
