The Cooler Master HAF X

Hard O/C mentioned this case in another thread, so I decided to check it out...
FINALLY...a case worthy of replacing the already impressive Antec 1200.
Check out
Legit Review's take
on it.
'bad@ss' is joke. How about KICK@SS!!?
Can you say:
TWO 200mm fans up top? (One optional)
Front-loading, hot-swap drive bays for 3.5" SATA HDDs? (Or 2.5" SSDs)
PSU management partition?
GPU bracket for heavier cards?
Cooling duct for said cards that supports an optional 120mm fan?
USB 3.0 front panel support?
NINE PCI EXPANSION SLOTS!!?
Lawd...unless something better shows up between now and Christmas,
my rig will be living in some new digs for 2011.

i was going with a HAF case for my 2010 Air Build, but den decided to stick with liquid, d HAF line seem to be d best aircooling out there, and that new case is wicked. Dont think u can do much better for Air. D airflow for your GPUs is WIN!

Seems like an evolution of the 932 (duh) I think what they've improved on is the add-ons (gpu brackets, directional fins on fans, etc). However that being said, it's actually smaller than the 932 in that you can only fit 1 PSU and a slimmer water cooling radiator on top (Messiah and he bro would have not have fitted the dual radiator without modding this case). As a owner of a Haf 932 I prefer it over this case. Still a VERY good case. The 932 can fit 2 PSUs or in another perspective allows you to choose where you want to put ur PSU, in my case my PSU cables were too short to be used from the bottom GOOD THING i could have mounted it on top too. Also the 932 lacks the vents but honestly you could make/fabricate these yourself.
That being said a review of the 932:
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/coolermaster_haf_932/2.htm
Hmm they look SOOO different... NOT XD

Sorry W1ntry, but the X improves on the 932 in every way possible. The PSU thing is not an issue, because most buyers of
this case would most likely be using an enthusiast-level PSU anyway, which would certainly have the required cable length.

In my case (you see what I did there), it's more of a matter of PSU manu, thermaltake seems to like the top as they only have 1 case that I know of that even has a lower mount PSU, hence my 700W Thermaltake (which I don't consider a run of the mill PSU Arc) can't reach the 8-pin CPU OR the 24-pin mobo, so it IS a problem for me. My previous OCZ GamerX would have been fine, but I no longer have that, that will be retified soon but small thing. My position stands, this newer version is the evolution, however I don't consider it a breakthrough over the 932, its a 932 with some 'soft' mods XD

...and along with this case, I think I'll upgrade my CPU HSF as well to one of the very best air coolers on the market...
Noctua NH-D14
Yeah...thats TWO tower-style heatpipe arrangements. That muhfugga can mount THREE fans on it.
Of course, with the space that this case provides, I'll be mounting that 3rd fan.
Christmas 2010 is gonna be a good one.

Finally available on Amazon
, for the expected 200 US.
...and Corsair could officially 'rock so'. 280 US is NOT worth my money...for THAT case.
