Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
« on: June 28, 2011, 08:47:51 PM »

We all know Brad Bird is a master of animated movies (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille).
I'm really looking forward to M:I 4, just to see how he does a live action flick.
After watching the trailer, you'd think he does it all the time =]

As for the trailer, no gimmicks etc. seems like a straight up spy thriller I say bring it on.

Saw this tonight.
Best action flick I've seen this year, and best M:I film by far.
Most impressive, Mr. Bird, you're just as awesome at live action as you are at animation.

The action scenes and story were interwoven nicely.

That there is some fightin words! 2011 had Fast Five, Transformers, Thor ... remember? You sayin that this show was better than all those?

Yea in the sense of a straight up traditional action movie, yea. Only movie you mentioned there that could give it competition is Fast Five.  When I think about it I had literally no complaints, this movie earns it's tag as a Blockbuster.

Saw it yesterday...not bad lots of action....a few unbelievable scenes.....all in all a good watch.
Feel it re invigorate the series for an MI5?
Btw those of you going to Movie Towne Chaguanas to see this ask the ticket collector for your stub [the part they keep]
if you go to the concession stand and present your stub to get a free Coca Cola Plastic Cup.
Just FYI :) I got cups for my coke-aholic wife :)

Honestly, I've hated this movie franchise ever since they made Jim a traitor in the first one and the subsequent ones being crap didn't help. o_O

We'll see...

Went out with the boys to watch this last night. Very awesome film- Unbeliveable enemies, impossible mission, great suspense; even though you know who's going to win it was great seeing them actually win. It also wasn't too short on comedy and eye candy though they didn't let sex or a love story overwhelm the movie which leads to more win!
