I watched this over the weekend and it was very depressing. Decent acting and an imaginative script though.

very cool. i wonder how they came up with the story for this one, is it a true story? if not, that's a very creative way to tell a tale of the nazi-jew thingy..lol

After watching it I went on wikipedia to read up on it. It is fiction based on a novel that came out a few years ago. It offended some jews since they felt it trivialised the holocaust. Apparently the events in the film could not have happened since kids of that age were all gassed as soon as they arrived, also the way the mother and boy were shown as innocent, not knowing what was goin on could not be so. Apparently everyone knew what was going on then.
