And the funny thing is the USA didn't make it to the finals in any lol.


The boys will do good I know it and I am praying the girls run harder than they've ever run in their lives and get medals.

I done feelin proud for my classmate and training partner Josanne Lucas and  not to mention Renny Quow who both by the way are from Tobago getting medals  

Waiting on the finals for the relays, women should be at 2pm and the men at 2:50pm, *crosses fingers and toes*

I was hearing on the radio yesterday that neither the Ministry of Sport nor the Sport Company helped these athletes financially (or otherwise) to reach Germany, but Hasely Crawford stood the bill. And to add insult to injury, government taking credit for the team's successes?

I wish that news surprised me.

Yea Noob used to train with Josanne when we were in high school but I was doing 110m hurdles. That ended for me when I finished high school.

It's nothing new with the retarded way track & field is treated by this country's gov't and as SOON as someone wins a medal the sports minister and all kinda business wanna big you up and say dey proud etc etc.

Many of these athletes are only getting the support needed because they have sponsors also, in Josanne's case adidas is her sponsor. There is no way a person can afford all the shoes/close/gear/travelling expenses to attend meets etc. without shelling out serious paper..

It's shameful and one of the reasons why so many local talented athletes shy away from going further simply because a lack of support both whether it be financial or simply by coverage of the damn races/events whether they winning or losing.

I will slap the sports minister if I ever get a chance because he is a backside.....

Props the Hasley Crawford, I hope that shows the retards in sports that there are other things beside football(which we don't really do well or gain much recognition for) and cricket to SUPPORT.....
