Well it's like he said, we will either see it as straightforward or we will choose to pick apart all parts of the film. Well the director's cut should make the narrative a little more understandable when it's out I mean 20 mins is alot. Either way we all enjoyed it for different reasons and thats a Win

You want nerds? This movie spoke to your samurai buffs, your steampunks, your fps freaks, your mmorpg geeks, your cyberpunks and your sailor-scout-ophiles.

Plus, throwing Don frikkin' Draper in the mix is pretty damn awesome too. :sassy:

lol, ent.

Q you read Archer's post with the interview right? Man said he was making a commentary on women in movies as seen through the perspective of nerds.

Talk about hidden punch line,...cause I completely missed that version. He's the director so I'm sure its there but it flew over my head.

Watched the Director's Cut and it's a far superior movie than the theatrical release. Watch this version instead. Extended action scenes and more development. Now I'd give this a 10.

took the theatrical version in this weekend.

This show was a head scratcher at first, but when it came together, it made a lot of sense.

From what i saw id give it a six or so out of ten. above average.

Finally got around to watching this. I cant rate it because halfway through I was too bored to continue. The action sequences have no impact when you know they are not real.

Clearly U didn't get past the first action scene.

The WWI and the Medieval set piece where they fought Orcs and knights (Director's cut) weren't real enough for you? O_o As for the Samurai scene they actually had a giant prop of it there while filming same goes for the cyborg battle at the end where they had guys in mo-cap suits as the bots else the choreography would've felt lifeless.

Like I said The Director's Cut IS the way to go. As much as I liked the theatrical version I was bored watching it the 2nd time (Theatrical). The Director's cut blew that away. If u watch the Director's Cut and still don't like it well then that's fair since well, can't expect everybody to like the same things ^_^

I didn't really like this movie TBH. I watched the DC with a friend and found it kinda nonsensical. I wouldn't say it was boring though. We just didn't enjoy it as much as some ppl. The best part of the movie was the train sequence. Replayed that battle like 4 times. lol

Ok i think what he means is the the fight sequences take place in baby doll's head....so in the movie she's supposed to be dancing for whoever it is at the time but in her head it's a fight...so I kinda agree with eroo

^ Yea was thinking that too But later in the movie there are consequences for their actions.

I rewatched the medieval battle 5 times. Was new to me since that scene with the knights and orcs were completely cut out idk why.

To each his own, I eh forcing nobody lol.

Well seeing as it was a Fantasy movie most of us didn't care that much about why he was there.

His appearance at the end was to make viewers question themselves about what really happened.
