Looks nice, and according to this review is chock full of features, but
after my experience with Logitech's wireless mice, and now the Sidewinder X8,
I simply WILL NOT go back to wired mice.

I agree, after you go wireless, it's hard to go back...

Looking for a Keyboard and Mouse combo, saw it at a friend's house... a Microsoft package, that had some sorta pad for charging the KB & Mouse

I've used wireless mice. I dont see what the big deal though. Once the cord is long enough, I dont even know its there.

Plus, I can always know when im using a wireless mouse, no matter how high the quality...the pinpoint precision and smoothness is not there.

Wired mouse ftw. I'll remind Arc of this fact when next we face off in cod.

Well, if you can detect 'the pinpoint precision and smoothness' or lack thereof on a wireless mouse
at 2000 dpi and above, then you sir, in de wrong wuk.  You need to be working by Logitech.  Or Razer.

Just how many wireless mice have you used to come to that conclusion?  Certainly not more than me.
I use wireless mice because its just plain easier for me, and the latest crop of them could more than
compete with the best wired mice, so the 'pinpoint precision and smoothness' argument has been
rendered moot.

Don't knock it if it don't work for you.

As for the COD thing, its not even related.  I haven't played it NEARLY as much (or as long) as you have.

I not talking about dpi, but instead lag due to the wireless nature of the connection. Hell, I can thow down with a bloody 400dpi mouse it doesnt matter to me. Something with those wireless thingies doesnt feel right.
