I think you'll run into a similar problem with almost any modern smartphone. Their advanced features are an immense drain on battery resources. The problem with the iphone is that you can't change the battery. Whereas a man with a Omnia hd could have a spare fully charged battery to pop in when needed, you cant do that with the iphone.
But all the fanboys like it so. They go spend $hitloads of money and spend hours in line to get a device that can't even last them a day...
Remember with all the advnced features, the damn thing is a PHONE. Tough luck if a man radiator buss driving through the bush in Fishing Pond. Iphone go hadda struggle to find a cell tower woops what's this? battery dead? Foot it to the nearest human inhabitant < 5 miles away...OR plug the hole with the phone.
