Good stuff. Bluetooth makes the handshake between devices and then switches the data transfer over to your devices wifi connection. Works between cell phones and other bluetooth enabled devices that also have wifi.

This assumes that the device has both Wi-Fi and bluetoothh capability included though.

yea.. thatz what i said lol, but alot of devices now have that, most smart phones and laptops.
The things self you would wanna sync, black berries, queerphones and awesometude e71s. Even some NAS have them both, and throwing in a usb Bluetooth dongle on your desktop would remove the need to tether to sync movies or mp3s..but would still probably tether anyway to charge the phone.

Ah yes these utilities are really handy when traveling. I really like a program called Joikuspot.

It lets you use your phone's built in GPRS/Edge connection and enables the Wifi on the phone to make it look like a Wifi router, just turn on ur ipod touch, laptop etc. and look hotspot ready to use hehe. One thing though it does make my E71 get pretty hot.
