hmm
its going to be 3 in one year :) wait for that one ^_^ will be... interesting.

as for temps, i dont know how to explain it, but look at the temps on the right of the screen
i rebuilt the board from floor up, reinstalled vista.... changed teh layout of the lasco fan, found what seems to be a perfect position for it and the damn processor never goes higher than 19 degrees with the ac on, i swear. It idles @ 15 degrees @ 3.4

So then am I to believe that your ambient temp in that room is about 14/15 deg C?
That's a mighty cold room.  Your CPU temp could never be lower than your ambient temp.

If thats what your getting at idle then you could get VERY vicioud with your voltages.
Vcore will need to go up to about 1.45V or so.  PLL will need to go up to about 1.65-1.88V.
Chipset voltage will need to be about 1.35-1.40V.

Get to it man.  Thou doth sticketh.

6 months out of the q6600 ocing is long enough for me to forget all my stable voltages. 3.6 should e definitely achieveable at those temps.

Here's what you can do to check, boot into the BIOS and see what your temps are, surprisingly when in BIOS temps tend to be pretty indicative of a slightly loaded system in the OS. Compare and contrast.

Actually isn't he? the 8800GTS G92 version is the same as a 9800GTX which is the slightly lower bredren of 9800GTX+... so in effect it's still the GTS

what?

He was running one of my 8800GTS which is the 96 sp version. Considering i have the EVGA version to his 'new' card i trying not to try and stomp his score with my Xeon setup :P

ok, so doesn't that now contradict w1ntry's explanation? O_o

On other words, 9800gtx+ is just a rebranded version of the 9800gtx which is a rebranded version of the 8800gts g92, which is a rebranding of the 8800gtx.
